My large-scale paintings emerge from personal sensory memories that resurface like signals carried through the rhythms of the changing seasons. In spring, the frequencies of tadpoles breaking free from their eggs, and in summer, the dense resonances of cicadas vibrating across the air, imprint themselves on my skin as bodily memory. These sensations become formative forces within the work.

Each painting carries a vibrating energy, swirling with sound, movement, and a sense of transformation. The surfaces are tactile, often constructed with modelling clay, where colours drawn from natural phenomena such as light, soil, plants, and water intertwine and shift like living matter.
